what if you didn't have to settle?

Marketers are often expected to deliver results with tools that are less than ideal. The technology is in place, the expectations are set, and replacing the system isn’t up for discussion. But that doesn’t mean they have to settle. With smart integrations, intentional processes, and creative problem-solving, teams can transform rigid systems, delivering growth against the odds.

overview

BACKGROUND

when you can't replatform, you re-invent.

Following several acquisitions, WSI needed to communicate fast and at scale — across web, email, and social — to keep customers engaged and internal stakeholders informed. Their tech stack, centered on Zoho and WordPress, wasn’t up to the task.

GOAL 1

automate communications across departments and touchpoints.

Goal 2

unify reporting across the marketing journey.

Goal 3

remove friction from customer workflows.

CASE STUDY

challenges

inflexible tools

Zoho Campaigns lacked the advanced marketing capabilities WSI needed. Reporting was clunky, automation was limited, and syncing issues created a cycle of support tickets just to maintain data accuracy.

data silos

Because Zoho separates its CRM from it's marketing automation product, stakeholders are beholden to permitted data field syncs, leaving us with data gaps that needed to be filled.

manual reporting

Even with multiple systems in place, there was no centralized, reliable view of marketing performance. Reports had to be manually assembled and cleaned each month, slowing decision-making and making it harder to spot drop-off points in the sales journey.
